Machine Operators - 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Shift

Located in Rantoul, IL

Salary: $15.15-$16.65

We are currently seeking several machine operators across multiple shifts for a local company.

Responsibilities:

Some typical tasks performed may include a combination of the following:

Monitor product and perform quality checks.

Inspect and measure filters to verify conformance to specifications.

Manually handler equipment and secure product in fixture OR automatic feeding device.

Stop and start machine, engaged feed, and observe operations to detect malfunctions.

Make minor adjustments or repairs such an opening and/or turning valves, setting guides, clearing away damaged product, and changing parts.

Feed products to conveyors, hoppers or feeding devices or walking beam.

Manage work in process inventories.

Replenish raw and consumable materials such as boxes, pallets, cartons, glue, lubricants, ink or labels.

Track and monitor production by recording and charting information such as the number of units of product, package or record/chart information such as size, weight, type or product, or type of production.

Use computer for information, quality control, and data entry as needed.

Qualifications:

Able to read & comprehend simple instructions

Compile short correspondence, write simple correspondence

Able to add, subtract, multiply & divide using whole number, common fractions & decimals, basic computer skills
