Logistics Supervisor

is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Supervisor to oversee the coordination and execution of all logistics-related activities across our operations, including inter-island transport.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of materials and supplies, while maintaining full visibility and traceability from origin to final destination.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Obtaining local quotes for transport of materials inter-island Managing and updating Smartsheet and Google Sheets for real-time logistics and shipment tracking Following up with suppliers to ensure timely dispatch and overseeing customs clearance processes Coordinating weekly logistics meetings with Business Unit Managers to align shipping schedules and maintain traceability Creating and maintaining shipment schedules and ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed of changes or delays Communicating effectively with internal teams, suppliers, customs brokers, and transport providers to ensure smooth operations Ensuring all documentation and shipping records are properly filed and accessible Performing any additional tasks reasonably assigned by management in line with the logistics function Liaising with delivery drivers to coordinate and confirm deliveries to job sites Key Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or procurement Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and inter-island freight logistics in The Bahamas Strong organizational and time-management skills Proficient in Smartsheet, Google Sheets, and other digital tracking tools Excellent communication and coordination skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
