Selectek has a client that is a long-established fabrication shop, seeking an experienced CNC Programmer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs for fabrication, ensuring precision, efficiency, and quality. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and experience with CNC machining processes.
Key Responsibilities:
CNC Programming:
Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Studio Glazier software. (can train on software)
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to create accurate machine programs.
Ensure proper tool paths, cutting parameters, and machining strategies for glass fabrication.
Machine Setup and Testing:
Collaborate with the production team to set up CNC machines according to program specifications.
Perform test runs to verify program accuracy and adjust parameters as needed.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect and measure finished glass products to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications.
Identify and resolve programming issues to prevent defects and minimize waste.
Optimization and Efficiency:
Continuously improve CNC programs to enhance production efficiency and reduce cycle times.
Optimize tool usage and cutting paths to maximize material utilization.
Collaboration and Documentation:
Work closely with engineers, designers, and production staff to ensure seamless operations.
Maintain accurate records of CNC programs, revisions, and production notes.
Requirements:
3 plus years of CNC programing experience
AutoCAD experience
Pay Rate: $25.00-$29.00
Term: 6-months temp to perm
