Job Title: Bagger Operator
Job Description
Set up and operate high-speed vertical bagging machines and auxiliary equipment, including scales and printers for code dates. Perform daily pre-operational maintenance checks, disassemble and reassemble machines correctly, monitor and evaluate product quality, and ensure uptime by filling machines with material. Work within a team of 3-6 workers, proactively communicating to maintain product flow and assisting in other jobs as needed. Perform sanitation throughout the shift and participate in weekly cleanings. Be able to work overtime based on business needs and perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities

Perform daily pre-operational maintenance checks.
Disassemble and reassemble machines correctly.
Monitor and evaluate product to confirm quality standards are achieved.
Retrieve raw materials and stage them in designated locations.
Fill machines with material to ensure uptime.
Work within a team of 3-6 workers, proactively communicating to maintain product flow.
Assist in other jobs as needed.
Perform sanitation throughout the shift and participate in weekly cleanings.
Work overtime based on business needs.Essential Skills
2+ year of vertical bagging machine operating experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally to load rolls.
Experience in a GMP environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Comfortable working in a cooler setting.
Attention to detail.
High-speed packaging experience.

Work Environment
The production facility is refrigerated, so candidates must be comfortable working in this type of environment. The facility spans 277,000 square feet and is designed to convert the highest quality cheeses for the food service, industrial/manufacturing, and retail industries. The goal is to exceed customers’ expectations by delivering the freshest, highest quality products with superior customer service.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
