Job Title: Level 1 Network Engineer

Our client in Santa Rosa is looking for a Level 1 Network Engineer to join our team.This role involves monitoring and troubleshooting network issues, handling help desk queries, and ensuring smooth network operations. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of networking concepts and experience with Windows servers.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage network device tickets from a ticketing system.

Troubleshoot network system issues and provide solutions.

Assist with basic network configurations and IP addressing.

Provide support for Windows server environments.

Collaborate with the networking team to resolve technical issues.

Maintain documentation of network configurations and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements:

Work History: Good tenure is Network focused role, with at least 2+ years of Networking experience

Personality: Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.

Communication: Must be able to understand and be understood in English

Experience:

2 years of network system troubleshooting experience.

2 years of experience with Windows servers.

Basic understanding of DHCP and IP addresses.

Experience handling network device tickets from a ticketing system.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Verkada and Cisco Meraki.

CCNA or other relevant certifications.

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.

Location: On-site 5 days a week in Santa Rosa, CA, with possible hybrid options over time.

Availability to Start: Immediate hire.

Availability to Interview: Flexible, with interviews starting immediately.

Compensation:

Annual Base Salary Range: $65k - $80k

Annual Bonus: 3-8% of base pay, given around Christmas time.

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
