Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead the design and analysis of HVAC and fire protection systems for commercial and MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and analyze HVAC systems, energy modeling, and fire protection systems for commercial and MEP projects.

Prepare detailed construction drawings and plans using Revit and AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Provide cost estimates and conduct technical analysis to support project proposals and budgeting.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into building designs.

Apply LEED principles to optimize energy efficiency and sustainable building practices.

Conduct on-site inspections and evaluations to verify design implementation and identify opportunities for improvement.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and client specifications.

Stay current with industry trends, codes, and best practices to continuously enhance project outcomes. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

New York Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

5+ years of experience in HVAC design, fire protection, and energy modeling for commercial or MEP projects.

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for creating detailed designs and plans.

Strong knowledge of LEED principles and sustainable building practices.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on technical accuracy.

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and project teams.

Experience in cost estimating and technical analysis for construction projects.
