As the Manger, CLPS, you will be responsible for the overall management of the Customer Loans Processing Support team, plus any implementation of Pacific Banking operational strategies and regulatory systems. This includes operational risk management especially in areas of systems and business continuity, in developing and maintaining a high level of risk awareness within the lending space for the PNG business
What are my key areas of focus?
The incumbent will report to the Head of Operations and the main responsibilities will be:
• Loan processing support – provide functional support to the Sales teams by processing all Mortgages, Terms & Conditions letters, BFAs, Settlements.
• Managing relationship between Bank approved panel solicitors.
• Ensuring accuracy of all Commercial and Consumer Securities documentation and drawdowns in terms of authority levels, product policy guidelines/procedures, credit conditions & covenants, compliance and the various regulatory requirements.
• Reconciliation – all relevant GL accounts to be reconciled in terms of standing instructions and WRAP.
• Process improvements – continuous work towards improving both the customer (internal & external) experience while adhering to compliance requirements.
• Management assurance and compliance – process integrity and reconciliation of all functions within scope of role are direct accountabilities of this role.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan management for the team.
This role is responsible for ensuring that all compliance issues are adhered to, including all checklists are completed, loan approvals are within Credit authority levels, all fees and charges are collected as per product policy, Document Completion Certificates signed off in accordance with authority levels. The role also plays a significant part in complying with regulatory requirements.
What do I need?
You will be degree qualified in business or related field; you must have 4 to 5 years of work experience. You will have demonstrated knowledge of customer loan processing support and settlement tasks. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Ensuring that all documentation and settlement/drawdowns are correct, and correct processes have been followed. Leadership skills in ensuring that all matters are distributed to ensure that matters are completed within service level agreements.
