Plant Engineer
Pay Range: $70,000-$80,000 Annually; Wage will vary based on relevant experience and education.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
Four years of equivalent work experience preferred
Two or more years of experience with industrial equipment and maintenance preferred
Demonstrated skills in problem-solving and attention to detail
Position Description:
This position will direct and coordinate the design, construction, modification, continued performance, and maintenance of equipment and machines under the guidance of the Chief Engineer. The focus for this role is to help improve the plant's efficiency, upgrade new technologies, repair equipment, increase production, and reduce manufacturing issues including bottlenecks. Our main processes utilize reaction vessels, distillation columns, pumps, scrubbers, boilers, holding tanks, and drier systems controlled by Honeywell automation PLCs.
Essential Responsibilities:
Proficiency in process modeling and simulation tools such as AutoCAD
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies (certification is a plus)
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
Must be self-driven and have the ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities
Proficient use of and experience with Microsoft Office products; SharePoint experience is preferred
Aptitude with equipment, tools, and mechanical operation
Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn the equipment and facilities to be maintained
Understanding of codes and standards pertaining to the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of production equipment (NEC, ASME B31.3, Ohio mechanical codes, NFPA codes, Ohio Basic Building Codes, Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code)
Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational and project management skills
Understanding of PLC's
Understanding of computer systems and hardware
Understanding of network systems and hardware
Understanding of intrinsically safe devices and installation of intrinsically safe circuits
Understanding of explosion proof devices and installation of explosion proof equipment
Experience with boilers and steam systems preferred
Experience with electrical distribution systems and components preferred
Experience with HVAC equipment and systems preferred
Experience with compressed air and gas systems and controls preferred
Experience with hydraulic systems and controls preferred
Experience with fire suppression systems and equipment preferred
