Job Description

Kable staffing is hiring an Entry-Level Machine Operator in Dayton, OH. This is a full-time position, temp to hire opportunity.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Learns industrial math, print reading, and machining theory related to the department they are assigned.

Under the guidance of the Level 3 Trainor or Team Leader, the operator learns skills related to the department.

Loads raw material and unloads finished product from machine.

Preforms basic deburring on product.

Learns basics of safety, sawing, drilling, materials, turning, and speeds and feeds.

Learns safe operation of, receives practical experience on lathes and milling machines within the department.

Follows sequence of operation on router.

Communicates with co-workers, and team leader to receive instructions and coordinate activities.

REQUIREMENTS

High school graduate with previous manufacturing experience a plus

Must have a good work ethic

Must be dependable and flexibly with a good attendance record

Must be detailed oriented

Must have aspirations of becoming a machinist

Must stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor

Exerts between 10 and 50 pounds on frequent basis

Always adheres to Company safety policies
