Are you looking to join a high performing sales team? We are currently looking for a highly driven energetic Dubai based Sales Director, covering Intermediary Clients in the region; focused on business development and relationship management with global and regional private banks and Independent Asset Managers in the Dubai International Financial Centre (“DIFC”).
What would your role be?
Work with the Head of Structured Solutions Financial Institutions (Switzerland-based) to develop and execute a regional business development and relationship management strategy for global and regional private banks and Independent Asset Managers in the DIFC.
Build and maintain detailed knowledge of key business and strategic issues facing financial institutions in the DIFC, UAE and across Middle East.
Ability to forge strong relationships within and across the client organization to drive commercial results.
Acquisition and ongoing servicing of new and existing clients.
Marketing the full range of Vontobel's Structured Products and Mulit Issuer Platform Services to the assigned client base .
Development and implementation of a business plan to identify prospects and raise Sales across product capabilities.
Ensure that all compliance and legal requirements are met and business is conducted in line with best practice, taking appropriate action where necessary.
What are we looking for?
Self-confident, robust, decisive, trustworthy and with excellent judgement on client matters
Entrepreneurial and a self-starter, but able to operate in a team environment.
Have demonstrated ability to drive commercial success
Deep knowledge of Derivatives and Structured Products
Strong aptitude for technology, particularly from a usability perspective
Innovative thinker able to bring forward and promote new ideas and initiatives, among peers and investors
Strong and confident presenter also in front of large audiences
Service mentality: client-centric, diligent and meeting fast turnaround times
Collegiate team player, experienced and comfortable in an international environment
Outstanding communication skills in English, Arabic is a plus
Extended Network within the DIFFC Financial Industry and excellent networking skills
At least 5 years or more experience with proven track record in sales or client servicing within the financial industry
