Job Description

PRESSURE CAST OPERATOR

Monday - Thursday

6:00 am - 4:30 pm, mandatory overtime as needed

$21.28 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Produces acceptable quantity of bowls (rims and bodies)

Operates machinery controls

Performs first line preventive maintenance and mold maintenance

Moves ware onto ware racks after exiting conveyor.

Able to work the green finish stations, and PLC control stations while meeting quality and quantity requirements

Performs normal record keeping duties

Able to recognize and identify any unusual variations which could damage ware or equipment and make appropriate machine adjustments

Performs clean-up duties as required

Practices and follows all required safety regulations

Performs other duties as assigned by supervision

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or GED preferred

Requires exposure to chemicals, dust, high levels of noise

Requires physical demand with repetitive heavy lifting

Requires exposure to heat, dust and high noise

Must be able to work scheduled overtime

Must have a working knowledge of the slip casting process and the ability to adjust to varying conditions and situations.
