Shipyard Designer

Job Description

Utilize drafting techniques to prepare layouts, charts, graphs, maps, engineered designs, drawings and diagrams based on technical specifications and instructions.

Hiring Piping Designers, Structural Designers AND Electrical Designers.

The contract is for six to eight months, with potential temp to hire.

Requirements:

6+ years of related experience in designing for Piping, Structural, or Electrical

Strong understanding of design principles and drafting techniques

Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Proficiency in working with drafting materials and software tools
