Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical-controlled production equipment. This role requires the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and hydraulic drawings, perform preventative maintenance, and support production uptime through corrective actions and system optimizations.

Requirements & Qualifications to Get Job

2-8 years of experience in plastics manufacturing, mold setup, or continuous extrusion Blow Mold/Injection.

Experience working with Thermolators, grinders, blenders, and liquid additive pumps.

Familiarity w/ Graham, Sterling, Milacron Blow Mold Machines, Injection Mold Machines, or similar equipment; understanding of machine functions and industrial products.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.

Ability to work multiple shifts (often 12+ hours) and weekends as needed

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and mechanical skills.

Accurate data recording and reporting.

Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Ability to prioritize tasks and follow instructions effectively.

Commitment to workplace safety and reliability.

Ability to perform quality work within deadlines w/ minimal supervision; strong teamwork/collaboration skills.

18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Able to communicate in English

High school diploma / GED

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to: eye & hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed boots, hard hat, and flame-retardant work clothes, etc.

Able to lift up to 60 lbs. & work in varying environmental conditions (heat, dust, noise, vibration, humidity).

Preferences to Get Job

Technical school and/or certification

Experience with Allen Bradley/GE Fanuc PLC maintenance & programming; computer literate

Experience operating forklifts

What you do on Job

Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical production equipment.

Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on machinery and facility systems.

Disassemble defective machines, install new or repaired components.

Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems for hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

Conduct general maintenance of plant facilities, including buildings, grounds, carpentry, and plumbing.

Maintain an organized maintenance shop and follow 5S workplace organization principles.

Support production teams by providing technical assistance to mechanics and technicians.

Assist in training Maintenance Technicians Level 1 & 2.

Participate in new project design, implementation, and equipment upgrades.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures & assist other processes as directed by the supervisor.
