Leader in distribution of specialty building materials is seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative to grow long-term with our organization. This role is crucial for enhancing customer satisfaction and supporting sales growth.
Responsibilities:
Conduct daily in-person and phone sales calls to secure orders.
Cross-sell products to existing customers.
Coordinate material deliveries and maintain positive customer relations.
Network with key decision-makers via phone.
Quote prices, prepare proposals, and provide sales information.
Maintain sales records and generate market/sales reports.
Investigate and resolve customer delivery issues.
Research and propose product enhancements for increased sales.
Liaise with Inside Sales for order processing.
Proactively establish new customer contacts.
Qualifications:
5 years of sales experience, industry knowledge preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft applications and internet-based data sourcing.
Strong analytical and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent time management and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
