Structural Design Engineer 3

CTS International is seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to contribute to the development and integration of structural and interior payload systems. This role involves utilizing advanced 3D CAD tools to create and modify system and component designs, ensuring they meet product definitions and lifecycle requirements. The engineer will lead performance analyses, coordinate with suppliers, and explore emerging technologies to innovate future product designs.

Responsibilities

Develop and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish comprehensive system designs.

Create, maintain, and modify system and component designs using 3D CAD tools, providing detailed product definitions for engineering groups, production operations, suppliers, and customers.

Lead performance integration and analysis tests to validate and verify that systems and components meet specified requirements.

Manage supplier development, testing, and production activities, coordinating efforts to optimize designs and achieve program objectives.

Investigate emerging technologies to develop innovative concepts for future product designs, aligning with projected requirements.

Operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and expertise in structural design engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.

Typically, 5 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD, Master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience).

ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.

Citizenship Requirement:

Must have US citizenship or Green Card holder.
