MANUFACTURING MANAGER Central Washington
SALARY RANGE: $130,000 + annual bonus
The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing all plant/process manufacturing operations, which includes safety, quality, maintenance, processing, packaging, sanitation, and/or wastewater. Position coordinates plant systems, processes, and resources to optimize productivity and maximizes plant efficiencies and related plant financials.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· A bachelor’s degree in food science, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field is preferred.
· Minimum of 7-10 years of plant processing/manufacturing/maintenance/quality and/or food manufacturing experience.
· Significantly responsible experience managing multiple departments, plants, and processes.
· HACCP training and certification is preferred.
· SQF Practitioner is preferred.
· Working knowledge of FDA and OSHA regulations, GMPs, Sanitation, and HACCP.
· Understanding of associated processing equipment and engineering.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position reports to the Plant Manager and manages plant staff, including salaried and non-exempt positions.
