TITLE: Engineering Test Technician

LOCATION: Carson City, NV

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Direct Hire

PAY: $25-28/hour

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking an Engineering Test Technician for a thriving aerospace manufacturing company in Carson City, NV! This person will support mechanical testing and inspection of aerospace products, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. Use tools like micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators to inspect products.

Assist with setup and operation of mechanical test machines.

Collect, organize, and analyze test data.

Help troubleshoot failures and maintain accurate documentation.

Prepare and condition test samples, including mixing adhesives and basic machining.

Assist in designing test fixtures and writing technical reports.

Support internal teams with technical data and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.

Minimum 1 year of related experience.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow detailed instructions.

Comfortable using hand tools; basic machining skills a plus.

Able to read engineering drawings and perform basic math calculations.

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); familiarity with AutoCAD/SolidWorks is a plus.

Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
