We have a position for an experienced Linux developer working with Linux tools to create an automated software build environment.
What you will be doing:
Creating a detailed plan for Linux environment setup, toolchain adaptation, software build process modifications, and tool file processing.
Identifying existing tools and identify Linux equivalent (See prior DCRs)
Reviewing and update existing tooling/scripts for platform paths and modify, with preference given to agnostic/relative paths
Creation of a WSL and/or Linux-Docker image from which an existing CSAR application configuration build will be performed
Comparing the old baseline build to same with Linux build environment for transparency and full DVP&R regression test.
Assure all engineering technical data is complete and accurately documented, establish and maintain technical files per the engineering processes, be cognizant of applicable certifications and product requirements.
Thoroughly document work performed via DCR system evaluations, and necessary technical reports.
Technical documentation and presentation of expected benefits and outcomes moving to Linux.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the following areas:
Linux
Tasking compiler
Python scripting
ASAP2 tool set
Git
Microcontrollers such as Infineon and NXP
Good communicator - written and verbal

What you'll need to be successful:
College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines.
Linux and linux tools experience
Tasking compiler experience
Python scripting experience
Vector ASAP2 tool-set experience
Git experience
Good communicator - written and verbal
Great collaborator
