Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Quality Control Group Leader to join our team. This position manages and performs quality operations or initiatives in the laboratory or the manufacturing environment across two production sites.

Responsibilities:

• Perform quality testing to support the release of products.

• Ownership of continuous improvements within Quality Control, Manufacturability of Products quality control processes and methods

• Oversees Quality Assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, ISO and company requirements.

• Perform all Document Control functions to assure compliance with the company quality systems and contribute to the management of QMS system.

• Final review and sign off approval for new documents/new documents revision prior to distribution.

• Track complaint escalations submitted to manufacturing sites, including dissemination of root cause and recommendations to internal teams and customers, as needed.

• Maintains a master list of all controlled documents

• Conduct and assist as needed with the internal Audit Programs.

• Manages the nonconformance handling system to ensure all nonconformities are identified, investigated and entered in the system.

• Ownership of ISO Certification

• Facilitation and Management of Customer Complaints

The ideal candidate must demonstrate basic knowledge of raw materials, laboratory equipment and computing tools to capture and record accurate data, with experience reviewing and updating lab quality control processes, reviewing the results of product tests and audits, and working with internal and external customers to resolve problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field required

• Minimum 3 years of QC/QA experience, Industrial Coatings preferred

• 1-3 years of experience Team Leadership Experience

• Proficiency in ISO 9001 Documentation

• Continuous improvement experience, LSS certified to Green Belt level preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Experience with gathering and analyzing data from quality systems

• Willing to travel up to 10% of the year
