EQI is fluent in doing business around the world, so our customers do not have to be. EQI sources metal castings, forgings, and fabrications from carefully selected suppliers around the globe. The metal components we specialize in are sourced from more than two dozen carefully selected manufacturers across China, India, Vietnam and the USA. By diversifying our supply base across several manufacturers and regions and offering redundant tooling locations, EQI mitigates risks and maximizes the flexibility to shift production from one location to another. EQI ships to and from multiple ports around the world, supporting our customers with full vendor-managed inventory services at the end location.

Position Summary

Are you passionate about ensuring world-class quality in products that reach customers worldwide? Join us as a Quality Engineer at EQI, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering fully conforming products to our global clientele. You will be at the forefront of quality assurance, utilizing cutting-edge tools like Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA), Root Cause Analysis, Engineering Change Notifications (ECN), Process Change Requests, and Supplier/Customer Quality Scorecard management.

Monitor and report EQI's quality performance at the customer level, track the cost of non-conformances, and communicate this information to account management and leadership. You will also report monthly quality metrics for both EQI US and Global Operations, implementing best practices and lessons learned across the supply chain.

Provide on-site support to customers and the supply chain regarding quality issues, and support specification review, approval, distribution, and training processes to ensure engagement with up-to-date requirements. Embrace the opportunity to take on other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager, making a significant impact on our global operations.
