Senior System Engineer

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Sr Systems Engineer with an active Top Secret clearance. The candidate could work either from Langley, VA or Eglin AFB, FL or Orlando, FL or Tallahassee, FL.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Promote communication to collectively problem solve

Pair with developers to remove technical blockers and resolve technical challenges

Architect and develop solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact

Define engineering standards and best practices

Advocate for development and implementation of modern, improved technical approaches, fostering a continuous improvement mindset with our engineering staff

Strong understanding of modeling and simulation methodologies.

Familiar with AOC Weapon System and Intel functions and system.

Experience with various simulation tools and platforms.

Strong technical foundation in software development best practices and processes including Agile development and DevSecOps.

Knowledge of relevant programming languages and databases (e.g., C++, Java, Postgres, DevOps).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in planning, organizing, and managing projects.

Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure quality.

Top Secret clearance, able to obtain and maintain JWICS access.

Strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues and ensure quality

Qualifications

Candidate must have an active Top Secret clearance.

BA/BS Degree with 10 YoE and 5 within DoD. Addtional years of experience could be considered in lieu of a degree.

Strong understanding of modeling and simulation methodologies.

Familiar with AOC Weapon System and Intel functions and system.

Experience with various simulation tools and platforms.

Strong technical foundation in software development best practices and processes including Agile development and DevSecOps

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
