Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Import Specialist. The Import Specialist will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks related to import shipments. This includes processing import documents, communicating with clients and vendors, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

Expertise in Import and International Trade regulations and procedures

Experience in Customer Service and Import Export operations

Proficiency in using automated systems such as ACE and Importer Security Filing

Strong communication and negotiation skills

High School Diploma (Prefer higher education Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field experience)

Experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or related industry is preferred

Cargowise software experience is preferred

The ideal candidate should possess a strong sense of urgency, be detail-oriented, and able to work seamlessly within a team to achieve desired results.
