Location: Remote but worker must be based in LA due to sporadic meeting at event spaces or office locations

The client’s Social Team supports the growth of the business by inserting the brand into culture and driving education, awareness, and engagement at scale through inspiring content across platforms.

As the Social Media Content Coordinator, you’ll support the day-to-day execution of our social content across music, auto, podcasts, live events, and evergreen categories. This role is responsible for editing short-form content, managing publishing workflows, and assisting with trend-driven, reactive, and post-event content delivery. You’ll work closely with our Senior Social Media & Content Creator Specialist and play a key role in keeping our always-on content engine running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Content Editing & Publishing

Assist with editing short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts using CapCut or native editing tools

Assist with editing static graphics for Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn using Canva or Adobe Photoshop

Quality-check content to ensure all assets meet platform specs, accessibility standards (e.g., captions, alt text), and brand guidelines

Support scheduling and publishing across platforms using tools like Sprout or native apps

Assist with maintaining the content calendar for posts across music, automotive, podcast, live event, and evergreen categories

Podcast & Video Workflow

Upload podcast episodes to YouTube and other platforms, including finalized metadata, descriptions, and thumbnails

Source moments and edit short-form promotional clips from long-form podcast episodes for social distribution

Assist with routing edited assets for approvals and ensure timely delivery

Evergreen & Reactive Content Support

Maintain evergreen content trackers and calendars, including scheduled posts and status updates

Regularly contribute to trend-driven brainstorms, pitches, and reactive/proactive content ideation

Collaborate on scrappy, scalable content ideas that ladder up to multiple verticals

Event Prep & Post-Production

Assist in prepping shot lists, post concepts, and publishing plans for live events

Support post-event editing and formatting tasks for social posts and recap coverage

Help organize content folders and deliverables after capture

Support the team on-site at live events such as premieres, listening parties, or other partner activations as needed

Internal Team Support

Fulfill internal content requests (pulling screenshots, uploading to Box, updating assets) as needed

Compile top-line post analytics, best-performing post snapshots, and social highlights using Sprout and native platform tools

Source relevant articles, links, and platform updates for weekly social news recaps

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience managing social media content for consumer brands

Experience creating short-form video content using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or native editing tools for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts

Experience creating static graphics using tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and X

Experience using social tools like Sprout or Sprinklr to publish and track performance of posts

Early adopter of trends, platforms, and creative opportunities

Available on occasion during off-hours or weekends for events as needed

Hands-on experience contributing to creative, innovative, social-first campaigns

Deep understanding of the social ecosystem and how brands can participate authentically

Interest in consumer technology and the entertainment industry—especially music

Excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail

Proven ability to creatively problem-solve and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment—often on short deadlines

Comfortable being on-camera occasionally for reactive TikTok content
