Backend Developer

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Software Developer to join their team! This position is located in St. Louis, Missouri.

Duties:

Develop full-stack utilizing Java and Python

Script heavy Python for automation and tool integration

Support and maintain AI/ML-based solutions, including transitioning support for tools like Amazon Kendra

Work with DocumentDB and other modern data systems

Provide input and insight into ongoing development efforts and architectural decisions

Collaborate closely with the team to ensure smooth handover and long-term support of AI search tools

Desired Skills/Experience:

3+ years of experience in backend development using Java and Python

Hands on experience using Amazon Kendra or willingness to learn similar tools quickly

Exposure to or interest in AI/ML technologies

Experience with DocumentDB or equivalent NoSQL databases

Ability to communicate ideas effectively and contribute to a collaborative environment
