Electrical Engineer

Looking for an Application Electrical Engineer who will support field service engineering activities including product upgrades, retrofits, and technical support for assigned product families.

We have 2 different openings and below are their descriptions:

Relocation expenses will be paid.

Position #1:

Power distribution experience working with UPS Systems and Inverters is a must.

Any experience with Lithium batteries would be a plus.

Experience with field upgrades and possibly moving systems.

Interaction with OEMs and clients experience.

Position #2

Experience with Synchronous electrical converters/controllers. 780KV to 800KV

Working with breakers.

Substation experience

PLC background will be needed. i.e. an understanding of software config and updates

Common responsibilities:

Perform engineering activities in support of field service, including upgrades and retrofit opportunities for assigned product lines.

Review RFQ, quotation, and order documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer technical requirements.

Prepare Service Bills of Materials (BOMs) aligned with customer specifications.

Provide technical support for field sales on product upgrades and refit projects.

Participate in and lead site walkthroughs, offering technical expertise and insight.

Serve as a technical liaison between product divisions, OEMs, and customers regarding product applications, field issues, and communication.
