Civil Engineer

Corestaff Services is seeking a Part-Time Civil Engineer for a client in Washington, DC. to provide support on client engagements by managing project activities, communications, and timelines, aggregating and synthesizing data, conducting analyses, developing solutions, and preparing client deliverables. Develop subject matter expertise to support client engagements through self-guided research and collaborate with team members to develop client deliverables and support presentations. Expertise of broader organizational capabilities, products, and service offerings.

This position will be 5-10 hours a week

Responsibilities

Duties include the following:

Prepare and review Site Construction Documents

Develop and evaluate Site Layout, Grading, and Erosion & Sediment Control plans

Design and review Stormwater Management and Utility Plans and Details

Ensure designs meet all applicable regulatory requirements

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project design and permitting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

1 - 3 years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting

Experience with AutoCAD

Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
