This role offers the opportunity to work alongside top attorneys in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, providing essential support for complex litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to attorneys, including document preparation, calendar management, and correspondence drafting.

Prepare and format legal documents, pleadings, motions, and discovery materials for state and federal court filings.

File legal documents electronically using e-filing systems such as PACER and state court portals.

Maintain and organize case files, trial exhibits, and client records in both physical and digital formats.

Coordinate court deadlines, depositions, hearings, and trial schedules, ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures.

Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and expert witnesses in a professional manner.

Assist in trial preparation, including assembling binders, preparing witness lists, and organizing exhibits.

Manage attorney timekeeping and billing using legal billing software.

Handle travel arrangements, expense reports, and meeting coordination for attorneys.

Support the litigation team with other administrative and operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of litigation legal secretary experience in a law firm setting.

Education: High school diploma required; associate’s degree or paralegal certification is a plus.

Skills: Strong understanding of litigation processes, court rules, and e-filing procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and legal document management systems.

Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with legal billing software and document review platforms is a plus.
