This role offers the opportunity to support a diverse group of attorneys in all phases of litigation, from pre-trial preparation through post-trial procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of civil litigation processes, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Trial & Hearing Preparation:
Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, arbitrations, hearings, and depositions, including organizing exhibits and managing logistics.
Participate in hearings and trials as needed
Preference for candidates with trial experience who are comfortable with trial preparation and in-trial support.
Document Management & Production:
Handle all aspects of document production, including conducting searches and organizing materials for discovery.
Prepare and compile legal documents and binders
Ensure timely and accurate filing (state and federal) within the document management system.
Workflow & Communication:
Stay proactive and highly organized, especially around approaching deadlines.
Ensure effective communication and follow-up to help attorneys remain on schedule.
Experience:
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, principles, and procedures.
Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
Experience with litigation management software is a plus.
