Senior Associate Attorney (Real Estate)

Innovative Driven is currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Senior Associate Attorney (Real Estate) to join the collaborative team at a well-respected law firm in Columbus, Ohio. This is a great opportunity to represent developers and investors in ground-up developments, property conversions, and rehabilitation projects.

Attorneys at the firm enjoy a hybrid schedule, 3 days working onsite in Columbus, OH and 2 days remotely! The firm offers a reasonable billable hour requirement, and a strong, positive firm culture that sets clients up for success!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ground up and rehabilitation development, including review and interpretation of environmental assessment reports.

Drafting and reviewing Purchase Agreements, Asset Purchase Agreements, and easements. Reviewing and interpreting complex Title Commitments.

Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, including AIA forms.

Reviewing and interpreting municipal ordinances.

Taking a municipal project from introduction through project approval, including obtaining variances, rezonings and conditional use permits.

Working with team applying for and obtaining economic incentives

REQUIREMENTS:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

6+ years including substantial experience in ground up and rehabilitation development.

Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
