Automotive Technician wanted for new Luxury Dealership launching in August.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunction and perform repairs; communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
Perform work as outlined on the repair order following dealership and factory standards.
Communicate with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if the work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician; determines if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
Save and tag parts related to repair if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
Supervise apprentice technicians as assigned
Report machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles and body shop area
Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications
Previous Technician Training
State Vehicle Inspector Certification (PREFERRED)
Valid Driver's License Required
