Locations: New Carlisle, Indiana – Columbus, OH – Marshall, Michigan – Boydton, Virginia
Duration: Contract
Compensation: $38/hr to $42/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
3+ years of experience in construction engineering
Knowledge of construction engineering, technology, codes, standards
Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a Project Engineer in several locations. The Project Engineer will be planning, developing, coordinating, and managing onsite construction engineering activities for large projects. You will be involved in the construction planning and design, interpretation of design, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts, constructability reviews, and shop drawing process.
Other Responsibilities:
Project Execution: Ensure that project engineering activities adhere to company and contract requirements while supporting the overall construction schedule. Provide technical support for construction efforts, including participation in planning and design, interpreting designs, applying construction methods, resolving and documenting design conflicts, conducting constructability reviews, and processing shop drawings. Develop, implement, and administer project engineering procedures and other work-controlling documents.
Resource Management: Oversee project engineering and related personnel functions and activities, including subcontractor planning and administration, and work assignments. Interface with all on-site departments as needed to resolve issues and ensure construction quality in support of overall project schedules.
Risk Management: Represent the company, project, and/or department during A/E, client, and project management meetings.
Technical Support: Serve as the key technical person on projects, potentially responsible for one or more small to medium-sized projects.
