The Multinational Force & Observers (MFO) is an international peacekeeping organization created by agreement between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the State of Israel. Our mission is to supervise the implementation of the security provisions of the Egyptian-Israeli Treaty of Peace. The MFO's Director of Human Resources serves as the senior HR staff member in the MFO and principal advisor to the Director General for all aspects of HR management for a diverse civilian workforce located in Egypt, Israel, and Italy.

The duties and responsibilities of the MFO's Director of Human Resources...

Develop and implement HR strategies and policies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.

Oversee talent acquisition processes to attract and retain top talent.

Manage performance management systems and provide coaching to leaders on best practices.

Manage employee relations across a diverse multinational workforce comprised of twenty-one nationalities spread over four locations.

Design and execute programs that enhance employee engagement and retention.

Develop compensation and benefits strategies to remain competitive in the labor market.

Ensure compliance with MFO policies and local employment laws and regulations as applicable.

Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on organizational planning and development.

Oversee employee relations issues and periodically visit and conduct discussions with employees at all MFO locations.

Supervise and mentor the HR team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.

Plan and execute the annual Human Resource budget.

The education and experience required...

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

10+ years of people management.

10+ years in a leadership role.

Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution.

Strong knowledge of HR best practices.

HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD).
