Role Overview
As the Senior Agile Transformation Manager, you will play a key leadership role in guiding our teams through an enterprise-wide agile transformation. You’ll be responsible for embedding agile best practices within our software development life cycle (SDLC), championing cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring sustainable agile maturity across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the end-to-end agile transformation strategy across the organization, aligning with leadership on vision, goals, and measurable outcomes.
Lead coaching and training efforts for scrum teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to adopt agile practices and mindsets.
Assess current SDLC processes and implement improvements to accelerate delivery, improve quality, and foster innovation.
Serve as an evangelist for agile values, Scrum, and SAFe practices, adapting frameworks as appropriate to our growth stage.
Facilitate and participate in key agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, PI planning, and backlog grooming.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to remove organizational impediments and align agile efforts with business goals.
Establish KPIs and OKRs to measure the effectiveness of agile initiatives and provide regular reporting to executive leadership.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, offering insights on scaling agile, team health, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification (e.g., SAFe, PMI-ACP).
5+ years of hands-on experience leading agile transformations in a software product or SaaS environment.
Deep understanding of the SDLC in both startup and growth-stage organizations.
Proven track record coaching cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of agile tools (e.g., we are a Jira and Confluence group) and metrics-driven coaching.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and mentoring skills.
Passion for continuous learning, experimentation, and cultivating high-performing teams.
Nice to Have
Experience in the fintech sector or financial services industry.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, product management frameworks, and lean portfolio management.
Prior experience as a developer, product owner, or scrum master in an agile team.
