We’re a tight-knit team based in SoHo, New York, with experience at Google, BCG, and Coalition, blending deep skills in tech, insurance, and growth.

You’ll have outsized impact and ownership

As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll help take 1Fort from 0 to 1, shouldering the responsibilities typically expected from founders:

Designing, building, and deploying major features end-to-end

Shaping product roadmap, company culture, and technical strategy

Mentoring engineers and maintaining robust, reliable systems

Tackling tough insurance challenges in close collaboration with the entire team

Beyond that, you’ll help define our culture, grow our user base, and support customers

What It Takes

3+ years of software engineering experience

Proficient in React, TypeScript/JS, and REST APIs

You’re comfortable wearing many hats in a fast-paced, 0 to 1 environment

Bonus points for insurtech, fintech, or vertical AI experience
