Environmental Scientist/Industrial Hygienist
Our client is seeking a full-time Environmental Scientist/Industrial Hygienist to add to their team. This position is an in-office, full-time position in their Exton, PA office. The mid-level position offers a dynamic and self-motivated individual the unique opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing small business. The position offers a balance between field and office work.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or related field.
Current training and licenses for Asbestos AHERA Inspector/Management Planner and Project Monitor, Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor, and EPA Lead Dust Sampling Technician
Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred in performing and coordinating asbestos, lead-based paint, IAQ, water intrusion/mold, general industrial hygiene, and facility-related investigations
Excellent verbal, written, communication, and computer skills
Safe driving record
Ability to work on a team as well as individually on task assignments
Responsibilities:
Conduct asbestos inspections, lead-based paint surveys, and indoor air quality (IAQ)/mold investigations primarily in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland.
Perform sampling of hazardous materials and prepare chain of custody forms for analytical testing.
Write clear and concise daily field reports detailing site activities.
Prepare inspection reports based on survey results and scope of work per project.
Gather detailed notes, photographs, and document temperature, relative humidity, and moisture content measurements.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, subcontractors, and prospects.
