About the Client:
Metric Geo is partnered with a leading air compressor and vacuum pump manufacturer on an exciting new assignment. Our client has an international presence and focuses heavily on highly engineered products. They have expressive values and a clear vision to provide its customers with the best solutions on the market. They’re a high-end, well respected manufacturer with a product portfolio that includes compressor, vacuum pumps and other flow control equipment.
Territory Manager:
The Territory Manager is in charge of managing all capital equipment sales activities in the greater East Houston Area. We require a true sales person, who has experience in B2B sales, to generate new leads and accounts to build the territory’s revenue.
Key responsibilities:
· Grow sales effectively to achieve sales targets
· Identify and target opportunities for new business
· Continuously maintain a strong book of business
· Manage existing accounts to ensure they are well served and their revenue potential is maximized
· Effectively utilize the company’s CRM system
Qualifications:
· 3 years of experience in industrial equipment B2B sales,
· Experience with industrial products (essential), capital equipment preferred
· A 4 years degree in engineering and/or business administration (preferred)
Skills/Personal Qualifications:
· Based in and willing to travel across the territory (
· Proven ability to sell and educate on technical products
· Self-starting attitude towards sales
· An excellent communicator with management experience
· A critical thinker who requires little guidance to solve problems
· High energy, self-driven person with an entrepreneurial outlook to business
