Job Title: Field Controls Specialist

Job Location: Houston, TX

A leading defense company making over 250 million in revenue is looking to hire a Field Controls Specialist for their growing team. The Controls Specialist will troubleshoot, service, and fix the Automated systems, computerized systems, and robotic devices across the US and International Sites.

The Controls Systems Technician will be responsible for:

Troubleshoot, service and fix the computerized systems and robotic devices that are designed to reduce human interaction

Manufacture, document, and test control systems and process controls.

Programmable logic Control (PLC) Communication and Automation Systems.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems. PLC programs, motor VFD's and other electronic systems..

Traveling across the US and Internationally 75% of the time

The Ideal Candidate has:

Minimum High school Diploma

PLC troubleshooting and programming experience

Oil/Gas or Navy experience

Must be a US Citizen

Compensation:

The base salary for this role does not include per diem, overtime, and bonuses for traveling, so total compensation will be higher.
