HIL Test Engineer – Flight Control Focus
We have been retained to hire a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Test Engineer who thrives in hands-on environments. If you're passionate about embedded control systems and have experience validating real-time software through HIL environments, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop and run automated HIL test cases for real-time flight control systems
Use Python to write test scripts that simulate real-world flight conditions
Validate controllers under fault scenarios, edge cases, and nominal conditions
Work closely with software and controls engineers to debug issues across hardware and software
What You Bring
Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (stronger focus on electrical systems preferred)
Hands-on HIL testing experience (Speedgoat, dSPACE, NI, or similar platforms)
Strong Python skills for scripting and automation
Solid understanding of real-time embedded control systems (flight control, motor/inverter control, etc.)
Experience working with flight control systems—aerospace, drones, or high-integrity robotics
Bonus If You Have:
Background in drone development, electric vehicles, or aerospace systems
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and model-based design
Familiarity with DO-178C or other regulated software environments
