ENGINEERING TEST TECHNICIAN

Position Summary
An excellent opportunity for an experienced high-voltage device lab technician to contribute to advanced technology development and commercialization programs. This role is ideal for a careful and diligent technician with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail. The position offers significant growth potential through collaboration with seasoned technical professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Perform wafer-level and packaged device testing and data collection in alignment with engineering instructions.
Collaborate with internal engineering teams and/or external equipment vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wafer and packaged-level testing.
Support general engineering tasks, including setting up instruments, assembling PCBs, managing lab supplies, and assisting with shipping, receiving, and lab maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma required; associate degree in engineering preferred.
Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar or related industry.
Proficient with high-voltage lab equipment such as curve tracers, source measure units, function generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters, soldering tools, and thermal tools.
Familiarity with common electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, diodes, inductors, transistors, and ICs.
Experience operating semi-automatic or automatic wafer probers.
Proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, LabVIEW, Altium, and Keithley software platforms.
(Preferred but not required) Experience in wafer fabrication environments.
(Preferred but not required) Foundational knowledge of semiconductor devices including P-N diodes, IGBTs, MOSFETs, and BJTs.
