Location: San Jose, CA - On-site
Salary: 200,000-250,000 USD base + Stock Options
Edison Smart is partnered with a growing hardware acceleration solutions provider, particularly SmartNICs (Smart Network Interface Cards) and DPUs (Data Processing Units) designed to optimize data center performance
As a Lead Hardware Engineer, you will lead a small team whilst spearheading network hardware design
Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, design, and verification of high-performance digital circuits for SmartNIC and DPU solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, software) to define system-level requirements
Mentor and manage small team
Ocassional pre and post sales technical support Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
10+ years of experience in digital hardware design, preferably in networking or data center products
Familiarity with SmartNIC or DPU architectures
Expertise in RTL design using Verilog/SystemVerilog for high-speed digital systems
Solid understanding of Ethernet, PCIe, DDR, and other high-speed interface protocols
