Hours: Minimum 40 hours with OT when required. 1st Shift 4-10 hours days, occasional travel (up to 25%)

We are seeking an Automation Technician passionate about building automation, robotics, and troubleshooting custom automation challenges.

A Day In The Life

Work alongside other technicians and engineering teams on custom automation projects. These projects are designed and built by our professional team in Belmont, NH, and delivered to Hubbell facilities across the US and internationally. Occasionally, travel is required to support field service assignments.

Responsibilities

Configure, build, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aspects of custom automation projects.

Set and achieve aggressive goals to meet project assembly deadlines.

Wire, plumb, align, and troubleshoot various automation components.

Follow prints and wire AC/DC cabinets on automation projects.

Set up HMI and assemble electrical panels.

Work with PLCs, VFDs, SCARA, and 6-axis robots.

Identify safety issues and lead by example.

Meet assigned deadlines for project deliveries.

Adapt to changing needs during project builds.

Occasional travel to support field services. Qualifications

Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting custom automation.

Ability to read and follow mechanical and electrical prints.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Computer literacy, including CAD software and Microsoft Office.

Mechanical and electrical skills for assembling and troubleshooting automation stations.

Ability to machine simple operations using prototrack.

Self-driven, humble team player with respect for the workplace.

Ability to follow directions and occasionally travel as required. Benefits
