Structural Drafter

Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Structural Drafter for a direct hire position in Wilmington, NC.

Job Details

• Creating structural models through the use of AutoCAD or Revit software using Architectural Designs and Engineering redlines.

• Schedule tasks accordingly

• Coordinate with, direct and respond to project architect and other craft professionals.

• Participate in weekly company project review meetings.

• Coordinate and review with Principal Engineer on all projects. Notify Principal of issues in schedule, cost, design, or construction as they arise.

• Seeking guidance and direction as necessary for performance of duties.

• Keeping the supervisor/manager informed about the status of work being performed.

• Offering possible solutions for problems that arise.

• Informing the supervisor/manager about problems and potential problems as early as possible.

Required

• Preferred minimum 3 years of experience in an Architectural or Engineering office.

• Proficiency using both Revit and AutoCAD software.

• Efficient work ethic to complete tasks on time and within budget.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Understanding of the construction industry, construction types and methods.

Compensation

$21-$33 per hour based on experience

Schedule

Monday-Friday / 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
