Description
FP&A Manager
We are seeking a results-drivenFP&A Managerto lead financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting for our fast-growing software company. You'll work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and G&A teams to provide strategic financial insights and help drive decision-making while contributing to process improvements and ad hoc initiatives. This role requires strong analytical skills, SaaS metrics fluency, and a proactive, business-partnering mindset. By delivering actionable financial insights, you will help drive strategic decision-making and contribute to the success of CARET.
Responsibilities:
Lead themonthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planningprocesses, by partnering with department leads (e.g., Sales, Product, Engineering, G&A) to align on financial targets, resource planning, and KPIs
Build and maintainfinancial modelsfor revenue projections,, headcount planning operating expenses, and consolidated reporting
Implement standardized financial reporting to improve clarity and alignment across teams and optimize resource allocation and budgetary controls
Prepare and delivermanagement reports, board decks, and investor updates with SaaS Metrics, key insights, and actionable recommendations
Monitor variances between actuals and forecasts and explain key drivers and metrics
Collaborate with Accounting to ensure timely and accurate month-end close and financial reporting
Implement and improveFP&A tools, dashboards, and processesto support scalability and automation
Support strategic initiatives such as pricing strategy, scenario modeling, and capital planning
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus)
5+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance, ideally in aSaaS or tech environment
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial processes, systems, and ability to aggregate disparate data sources for integration into financial models
Strong modeling and data analysis skills usingExcel,
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) and BI tools (e.g. Domo)
Excellent communication skills and ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders
Strong business acumen and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment

Pay range: $100,000 - $130,000.Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operations business needs.
Depending on the position, compensation may also include commission, bonuses, etc. Potential for bonuses is based on company performance and potential for merit increases is based on performance.
