Power Generation Technician

Power Generator Service Technician (Houston, TX) $35-$45/hr

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Additional education in the technical field is a plus.

Experience with servicing and repairing electrical power generators ranging from 5kW to 2MW, with expertise in leading equipment brands.

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.

Strong technical service skills, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with power generation equipment.

Extensive knowledge of DC electrical systems and machine electronic systems.

Ability to interpret technical materials and effectively apply repair processes and procedures, including manufacturer updates.Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs and pull up to 50 lbs.

Capability to stand, sit, climb stairs, and maneuver in and out of machinery.

Dexterity and frequent use of hands, wrists, and fingers for repetitive motions.Work environments vary from quiet office settings to moderate or loud noise levels, including sudden loud noises.
