Job Description
Pharmaceutical Scientist II
SUMMARY
Responsible for providing independent technical review of complex projects and analysis for pharmaceutical/therapeutic products. They will serve as a resource for the team for troubleshooting of instrumentation, methods and investigations. They will generate reports and ensure the laboratory is producing high quality data that meets GMP guidelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Serves as a resource to staff to include providing guidance, and training.
Independent review of Method Development and Validation for chromatography
Independent Data review for Chromatography analysis
Troubleshooting instrumentation and methods
Writing investigations/deviations and other reports
Ensure all activities adhere to SOP's, regulatory guidelines, GLP and GMP standards.
Contributing effectively to the accomplishment of team or work unit goals, objectives and activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biochemistry, or a closely related field.
4-6 years of experience, including experience with specialized or technical programs or operations; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Master's or PhD degree is strongly preferred.
