Position Details:
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Irvine headquarters as a Front Desk Patient Coordinator. Our Front Desk Coordinators are the first point of contact for patients visiting our center and play a critical role in shaping their overall experience.
The Front Desk Patient Coordinator will work closely with teammates to manage key aspects of patient-facing operations, including reception, check-in and check-out procedures, appointment scheduling, call handling, payment collection, tissue shipment management, and general administrative support. Front Desk Coordinators are a vital part of clinical administration and an essential part of helping prospective parents begin and navigate their fertility journeys.

Qualifications:
Conversational fluency in Mandarin is required, reading and typing proficiency strongly preferred, familiarity with medical terminology is ideal
Ideally 1+ years prior work experience in medical office setting e.g., reception / front desk / medical assistant / care coordinator experience
Alternatively, strong customer service / sales experience is a plus
Familiarity with medical terminology and ideally ICD codes is preferred not required
Familiarity with EMR software and patient scheduling is a plus
Local to the Irvine area for interview, evaluation period
Responsibilities:
Guide enquiring individuals through their clinic visits
Assist patients in person, by phone, and via email with questions, scheduling, billing, and all other non-medical visit needs
Deliver the highest standard of patient service and a supremely courteous and professional experience
Resolve issues for patients and ensure all patients feel supported, comfortable, and well cared for
Collaborate with team members to improve individual and department performance
Coordinate with leadership and other departments to address patient feedback and resolve patient questions
Develop ideas, collaborate with other departments, and create initiatives to improve the medical practice and standards of patient care
Serve and protects the clinic community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, local, and practice requirements
