Senior Engineer, Software Integration Engineering

Job Description

Support our team in developing and deploying software solutions. Plan and execute all assigned software development projects while working closely with Project Manager(s) and all project team members. Participate in all aspects of system installation and configuration on assigned projects. Participate in onsite installation and commissioning activities on assigned projects. Develop project deliverables, including database, documents, software releases, etc. Work on testing activities on assigned projects. Maintain and enhance software systems by fixing complicated errors. Familiarize with the principles and practices of existing software development. Follow all SIS, ISO, CMMI, and software engineering policies and procedures in performing day to day activities on assigned projects. Ensure assigned tasks are completed on schedule and with high customer satisfaction. Establish effective communications and working relationships with team members on assigned projects and with other departments. Establish effective communications and working relationships with external customers under the guidance of management team on assigned projects. Acquire knowledge of industry products and services.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineer, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology or related field of study, and 4 years of experience in any job title/occupation/position involving application design, implementation and installation of real-time computer-based process control systems.

Experience specified must include 4 years of experience with each of the following: systems integration, including all phases of the software/system development life cycle; using Object Oriented Principles when developing software solutions; and Software configuration management. Experience specified must include 3 years of experience with each of the following: C/C++, C#, Visual Studio, Microsoft operating systems, Network Architecture, Microsoft 365 Applications (Outlook, Office, and Teams), and Jira; Oracle or any other relational database (e.g., SQL Server); and VMware virtual machines.

Telecommuting is permitted in accordance with company policy. Must be able to work Central Time Zone (CST) business hours and attend ad hoc meetings at the office in Carrollton, TX as scheduled.
