As a Home Health Aide (HHA) / Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Procare Home Health LLC, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of assistance. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a state-approved HHA or DSP training program.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a home health or caregiving role.
Certification in specialized care areas such as dementia or developmental disabilities.
Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with a diverse client base.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Administer medications and monitor clients' health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
Provide companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities.
Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare team members.
