Process Technician

Job Description

Our client designs, engineers and creates innovative plastic injection molded packaging technologies that build brand value for our customers, and, in turn, make a meaningful difference in the lives, looks, health and homes of people around the world.

We are seeking a hands-on Process Technician who can keep molding processes running smoothly and troubleshoot issues as needed to produce high-quality plastic components.

Preferred Experience -

At least 2-5 years of experience setting up and troubleshooting of injection molding machines.

At least 1-2 years of experience of setting up auxiliary equipment and operating a forklift.

Essential Functions -

This position requires the ability to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot operations of all injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.

Setups to include mechanical hookups as well as water, hydraulics, and electrical hookups.

Document process by writing Maintenance and Tool room work orders.

Set processing parameters.

Drive fork trucks.

Communicate the status of the process to the operators and or supervisor. Be familiar with and operate auxiliary equipment, such as grinders, conveyors and closing machines.

Clean and maintain equipment. Maintain the flow of quality of parts being produced, and arrange work areas.
