Our client is a global manufacturing firm who services industries from automotive and aerospace, to food and beverage, and is actively seeking to hire a very hands-on Mechanical Technician.

Main duties of the Mechanical Technician include:

Hands-on repair and assembly of high-pressure mechanical and hydraulic systems

Working directly with Mechanical Design Engineers on product changes

Read highly technical blueprints and perform maintenance accordingly

Electrical troubleshooting of components (PLC’s, VFD’s) that are used on these systems

Assist in the mechanical and electrical testing of machines and machine components

Qualifications for the Assembly Technician include:

Highly technical skills and know-how (Ideally an AS or BS degree in a technical field)

Hands-on experience performing repair and assembly of equipment and/or machinery

Strong electrical and mechanical (hydraulics) troubleshootingCompany Description
